Adjust Setup Guide
Connecting Adjust with Roku Ads Manager will enable the sending of app install events to Roku Ads Manager to power (a) attribution reporting, (b) automated optimization for Installs, and (c) custom audience building within our platform.
At the same time, it will return attribution data back to Adjust for holistic reporting within your Adjust reporting dashboards.
Note: Roku Ads Manager does not currently send spend data back to Adjust. We are in the process of establishing this part of our integration.
Follow these steps to connect your Ads Manager account with Adjust, enabling the delivery of install events across both platforms.
Sign into Ads Manager
Go to the Events page
Identify an existing Event Group or create a new Event Group
Copy the Event Group ID
Send Roku (adsmanagersupport@roku.com) the following information:
Your MMP name (in this case, Adjust)
Your Event Group ID
Sign into your Adjust account
Click the ‘Campaign Lab’ menu item on the left navigation menu, and then click the ‘Partners’ sub menu item
Click the 'New Partner' button
Search for ‘Roku Ads’ and click the tile
Do not use the ‘Roku Endemic Media’ or ‘OneView’ options
Select the app that you’d like to connect to your Event Group
Click ‘Edit’ on the ‘Enabling data sharing for Roku Ads’ module
Paste your Event Group ID (copied in step #4) and click ‘Enable’
[Optional] Click the ‘Sessions’ box to enable app session conversions (i.e. app opens) to be shared with Roku
Map your Adjust app events to Roku Ads Manager events
You are now ready to launch your campaign! Please note that Events can take up to 4 hours to appear in Roku Ads Manager
After you’ve received your first Adjust app conversion, you can adjust the attribution window in the ‘Roku Ads’ page within the ‘Partners’ tab (in Adjust)
Additional considerations:
If you use an Adjust click-URL for Action Ads, users will be routed to the correct app store based on their mobile OS. However, please note that click-events driven by Action Ads may be attributed to this link instead of Roku Ads.
Roku Ads Manager does not currently send spend data to Adjust. We are in the process of establishing this part of our integration.
