Kochava Setup Guide
Connect Kochava with Roku Ads Manager to enable the sending of app events to Roku Ads Manager to power attribution reporting, automated optimization for Installs, and custom audience building within our platform.
Note: Roku Ads Manager does not currently send spend data back to Kochava. We are in the process of establishing this part of our integration.
Setting up the Kochava integration
Follow these steps to connect your Ads Manager account with Kochava.
1. Sign into Ads Manager and go to the Events page
2. Identify an existing Event Group or create a new Event Group
3. Copy the Event Group ID
4. Send Roku (adsmanagersupport@roku.com) the following information:
a. Your MMP name (in this case, Kochava)

6. Select the desired Account and App
7. Select Engagement > Campaign Manager
8. Click + Add then + Add Tracker or Select Segment Tools - Add Tracker

12. Select Agency Partner (optional)

18. Click Save
19. Next to "Install," click the edit icon (pencil)
20. Enter the App Store ID

20. Click Save. This will create your Install postback. You can now configure additional post-install app events.
Post-Install Event Postback Configuration
1. Select Apps & Assets > Partner Configuration
2. Expand Roku Postbacks
3. Locate the desired event and click Create for a new configuration or Edit for an existing configuration.

Additional considerations:
If you use a click-URL for Action Ads, reach out to your Kochava Customer Success Manager for assistance with setup.
Roku’s attribution window is 14 days. We recommend setting Impression Lookback windows in Kochava to the maximum allowed to help prevent reporting differences. These settings are available in Partner Integration > Reconciliation
