On the Campaign page, you'll find the status which will automatically update as you create your campaign.
As you make your way through the campaign creation process, your statuses will automatically change.
Here's a guide to what the statuses mean:

Draft | Campaign has been created but isn’t published yet. No money will be spent until you publish. |
Reviewing creative | Creative has passed the technical spec check and is now in manual review for 2-3 business days. It's recommended you keep this timeframe in mind when setting your campaign schedule. |
Scheduled | Campaign has been published, at least 1 creative has been approved, and the start date is set for the future. On that date, the campaign will go live and the status will change to Active. |
Active | Campaign is published, creative is approved, and your start date has arrived. your ads are delivering. |
Creative needed | If there’s no approved creative, or the creative was rejected, the campaign won’t spend. At least 1 approved creative is required. |
Deactivated | If your ad account is deactivated for the following reasons, your campaign will immediately stop spending. You’ll receive an email with more information. 2. Ad policy violation 3. Other |
Inactive | Campaign has been turned off by the account holder. |
Ended | Campaign has reached the designated end date. |
Budget reached | The lifetime or daily spend cap on the campaign level has been reached. |
