Can my ad promote or reference alcohol?
Yes, as long as it meets the following requirements:
Don’t target people under the age of 21 in the United States or other applicable legal drinking age for the location of the audience
Only target countries that allow alcohol ads and follow any other targeting and placement requirements for the location of the audience
What are alcohol ads?

Venues and events in which the primary business model depends on alcohol sales
Availability of alcohol sales
Depiction of alcohol consumption
Promotion of alcohol brands or products

Local laws and guidelines
Alcohol ads must comply with all applicable local laws and regulations, required or established industry codes, guidelines, licenses, and approvals
As global alcohol laws vary by location, advertisers need to make sure they comply with any applicable targeting, placement, and dayparting requirements
Some countries don’t allow the sale or promotion of alcohol, while others have minimum drinking ages
Ad submission and content
When you upload your ad creative to Ads Manager, the content will be manually reviewed over 2-3 business days for compliance with our ad policies and requirements, including Roku's Advertising Guidelines.
All alcohol ads must reflect responsibility and promote safe and moderate consumption, must include any legally required warnings or disclosures, and shouldn't target or appeal to underaged viewers.
