In-flight adjustments

What can be changed after your publish your ad campaign.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

While Roku Ads Manager will automatically optimize your campaign in real-time on an impression level, you may also want to optimize or adjust your campaign on a macro level. For example, you may want to swap audiences, creatives, or flights.

You can change any setting in your campaign after it launches by clicking into your campaign and clicking edit on schedule, budget, locations, audience, or creative. The only fields you can't change after you publish your campaign are start date, objective, and goal.

Note: changing settings will cause our platform to adjust optimization to the new parameters, which might take some re-learning time. The amount of time varies according to different parameters such as setting changed and amount of data available.

We also recommend not adjusting your pixels while your campaign is live. It’s better to adjust your pixels after a campaign ends, and before your next campaign starts. This helps us optimize throughout your flight off of a stable truth set.

To publish your campaign, you'll need at least 1 approved creative and a verified method of payment added to your account.
