What do the different payment statuses mean

Understanding paid, pending, and failed statuses.

Once your payment is received, the status will change from pending to paid in the Payment activity list. If there’s an issue with the payment, the status will show as failed.

Paid: ​Your credit card payment was successfully processed or your refund request was approved and paid.

Pending: We've initiated the process to collect your payment. ​For ad accounts using invoicing, any partial paid invoices will also show as pending until paid in full.

Failed: ​Your payment wasn't received. Your ad account will be deactivated and your campaign will stop spending immediately.


A few common issues to check:

  • Credit Card has expired

  • Credit card credit limit was exceeded

  • Insufficient funds

  • An issue with your bank

  • Additional info on overdue invoices

We’ll follow up with several emails over 7 days. If we’re still unable to reach you and we don't receive your payment within 7 days, your account will be turned over to collections.
