Add or update payment method

How to add, update, and change your method of payment.

You can use 1 payment method per ad account and only account admins can manage payments and receive emails regarding billing.

For accounts using credit cards, all major credit cards are accepted, but no debit cards, Credit cards must have a US billing address.

For accounts using invoicing, you must apply for a credit line first. Once your ad account is enabled for invoicing, it cannot revert back to credit card billing. Read more about invoicing here.

A valid payment method is required to run ads


How to add payment method

Select the “Edit” button on the Payment page. From here, decide if you'd like to use a credit card or apply for invoicing.

  • For credit cards, fill in all the required credit card details.

  • For invoicing, follow the prompts on the screen and apply for a line of credit. Find more details here.


How to update payment method

Ad accounts using a credit card can update their card details at any time. To do so, navigate to the Payments page and click "Edit". Then, adjust your credit card details.

Ad accounts using Invoicing cannot revert back to credit card billing. They must remain on Invoicing as a payment method. Read this article to learn how to increase your credit limit.


Changing your payment method

To avoid interrupting your spending campaigns, you can't delete a payment method, but you can add a new one.

For ad accounts using credit cards, select Payments from the Profile menu on the top right, select Edit, and add your new credit card. It'll automatically replace your default card.

Ad accounts using invoicing cannot revert back to credit card payments. They must continue using invoicing.
